FINDS:
You can't swing a detector for thirty years (about ten of serious hunting) and not come up with some loot. Here's some of mine:
A Tag Heuer: $1500 new A .78 Carat Diamond Men's Ring. Setting is 14k, 16.6 gr. A Few Watches: Cartier, Tag Heuer, Oris, & Certina (Audemars Piguet) April 2011 (one week, silver ring at top left is Tiffany) March Break 2011 May 2011 (one week 3.7 ozs. = $2500+) A 5.6 ounce (158.6 gr.) 14 white gold chain with 60 diamonds. Some old stuff from the last few seasons. (Learned a few tricks to do with tuning the pulses and reading the grades). A 40's ladies band, 18K, 12 grams found with the Aquasearch. Two tough weeks in the water--about $3200. Cross (minus tooth) is 17.4 gr. 14K. A 24K bracelet, 39 grams with "bending" clasp. A 9.7 gram platinum Tiffany & Co. band, $1025 new. A 2.8 oz. (79.4 gr.) bracelet in 14k. A good ($3800) week in the water. Another good ($3000) week in the water.
An okay week in the water including an 89.8 gr. 14K anchor-link Russian "protect and save" chain.
A nice half platinum half 18K 15 gr. band. Gotta love that battered finish!
"The Big Diego" 18K 57.7 gr.
The "Big Dog" 26.1 gr. platinum. (The insignia is the Hindu symbol for Brahman or "Ohm"). 2005 stuff: some serious platinum (at right) and a $2750 Cartier "Pasha" watch. Some platinum, about 3 1/2 ounces. My Cartier It's a "Pasha C," styled on the old "deep sea" diving helmets. 2004 stuff 2006 stuff 2007 stuff 2009 stuff 2010 stuff 2011 stuff
